In-Sight: For the Bride (5)

Today, I write to ask for your prayers.  Coming out of Lent with a lament for the Bride has evolved into the writing of a book tentatively entitled, ‘For the Sake of the Bride: Restoring the Church to Her Intended Beauty.’

It has been a consuming project, but one I have felt compelled to accomplish.  The way of love demands more attention, substance, and development.  The previous posts this week have merely pointed to something more wonderful and challenging. We need to draw on the revelation of scripture and the witness of tradition. We need the wisdom of those who have lived it previously. I have tried to capture some of this in the book.

So, I ask you to pray for me as I complete the writing phase and move toward the publishing of the final text.  I plan to offer it in an e-book format, at least initially.  I hope to have it available in early May.

I will keep you posted.
